The view was stunning, peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The staff, especially Deepak, were incredibly kind and helpful. The beds were new and very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home with friendly people.

It's located right in the heart of the entertainment district, so we were just a stone's throw away from all the cool bars and clubs. We also had a blast visiting the adrenaline-pumping activities in Queenstown - bungee jumping and jet boating! It was the ultimate thrill-seeking experience that made our trip unforgettable.

The only thing we wished for was a better party atmosphere at the hostel. While the location was awesome for going out, we wanted more social events and organized activities within the hostel itself.

Lakeside Backpackers is my go-to spot in Queenstown. The helpful staff set up a wake-up call during my first stay. With free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, a shared kitchen, and a laundry room, it has everything I need. Can't wait to come back for New Year!

My stay at this lakeside hostel was mind-blowing! The atmosphere felt like home, with welcoming and friendly fellow travelers. The area was perfect for hanging out and relaxing. Some plugs were a bit old, but everything else was super! The beds were recently replaced and were incredibly comfortable. The room was alright, and the people I met were kind. Though I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place, considering it's peak season and the prices of other hostels, I would stay here again if necessary. The cleanliness of the hostel was jaw-dropping, from the sheets and blanket to the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, and the wifi worked without any issue. The heater was provided during chilly days, and the receptionist, Deepak, was incredibly nice, helping me with my heavy luggage upstairs. And boy, the view from my room overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning!

We had a wonderful stay at a cozy, home-like hostel. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. We especially loved the comfortable beds that were recently replaced. Despite a few plug socket issues, we felt right at home.

While the facilities were in need of some maintenance, such as the windows being poorly insulated, the heating was always on. Despite the shortcomings, we were grateful for a roof over our heads.

Had an amazing Christmas stay in this hostel! The location was perfect, right near the lakefront and close to all the action. The hostel had a great atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. The common areas were spacious and clean, and I loved hanging out in the backyard patio/garden, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. The quick wifi was a bonus, allowing me to easily download and share all my holiday photos. a fantastic experience!
